Join the Hatfield JCR Board of Trustees

The Hatfield Junior Common Room acts as the representative body for the undergraduate students’ interests and facilitates a rich and expansive programme of sporting, cultural, recreational and academic societies.

The JCR also provides welfare support to students, organises major social events and is involved in outreach activities in the North East.

Following a recent referendum, it is anticipated that the JCR will become a Charitable Incorportated Organisation (CIO) on 1 August 2021.

Recruitment of Trustees

As part of the process, the JCR is looking to recruit a board of trustees who will be responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the charity.

Sitting as one of five external trustees, you would work with student and sabbatical international trustees in advance of the 1st August prior to formally starting the position.
